WildLife Trade

ANIMALS AND EXTINCTION

Over the years, more animals will be sold and assassinated. Soon enough animals all around the world will be extinct with a dramatic decrease due to anthropogenic activities. People don’t realize this, they are responsible only for themselves. WWF and the Zoological Society of London know about how many animals will be wiped out in the next few years if we don’t act. According to WWF and Zoological, at 2020 about 2/3 of the animal population will disappear if we don’t liberate the animals. Even one animal can change the world. With biodiversity loss, including climate change, Earth will not last as long. “For the first time since the demise of the dinosaurs 65 million years ago, we face a global mass extinction of wildlife. We ignore the decline of other species at our peril -- for they are the barometer that reveals our impact on the world that sustains us. Humanity’s misuse of natural resources is threatening habitats, pushing irreplaceable species to the brink and threatening the stability of our climate," said WWF Science and Policy director Dr. Mike Barrett in a news article. -Sixth Wildlife Mass Extinction.

By "adopting" an animal, you might save its life or the life of more animals. Like a Leopard, African Elephant, Dolphin, and even a Gorilla. You can give from 3$ a month and up, according to the animal you choose.

Illegal wildlife trade is increasing due to the demand for elephant ivory, rhino horns, and tiger products, particularly in Asia. Wildlife is trafficked much like drugs or weapons. Wildlife criminals often kill animals well making the trade a low-risk/high-profit business.
