EARTH AND ANIMALS

EARTH
GAPS IN PROTECTION

Animals are treated like debris. They are creatures like us. The only thing that disconnects us from them is our ‘outer view’ meaning body, face, height, etc., and that we can’t talk to them. Imagine what they would say if they could talk.

A lot of animals have no strength or the capability to survive from gunshots and human activity. So, people take advantage of this. They stack them in cages, without air and no food/water. Imagine if YOU were in this situation. It displeases me that people have the courage to terrorize and treat animals like this.

THREATENED

Wildlife trade affects us, because species are being lost by illegal trades, and thus, the life cycle gets changed. The population of animals has decreased by 58% over the years, because of trade and hunting and human habits.

We have decreased the animal population, and as a result, a small amount biodiversity makes the future uncertain, because now we are a big world (humans/animals) on a small planet.

We all know that dinosaurs were extinct because of a comet, then the comet fell and hit earth, changing the climate and all the dinosaurs became extinct. In a similar way, because of animal trade, the climate will change.

Weak judicial systems and sentences allow people to plunder wildlife animals like (India/African Elephant, Bengal/Amur Tiger, Leopard, Panda, African/Black Rhino, Green/Hawksbill Turtle, etc.)
Sometimes people that kill precious and glorious animals like these have no consequences for what they have done. This is so outrageous. This makes more people not afraid to trade animals and is a low risk
business with high returns.

The poachers are the ones that are mostly caught, leaving the people really behind this and their network safe.

The Amur Leopard can run 37 miles and can jump 10 feet high. They live in Amur-Heilong, or in forest habitats and mountains. The Amur Leopard is poached a lot. Their skin is sold for $500-$1000, close to Russia. Because the forest is opened, the Amur Leopards and other animals get killed more easily.

GORILLAS

January 01, 2020

There are four types of Gorillas. The Cross River Gorilla, the Mountain Gorilla,  Western Lowland Gorilla and the Eastern Lowland Gorilla. They have 98.3% of our DNA. They are the third closest "cousin" to us after the Chimpanzee and the Bonobos. They are killed for the bushmeat trade, which has spread Ebola. this is deadly to animals and humans! In some cultures, they kill and eat Gorillas. This has increased by the years. Poachers kill Gorillas and trade different parts of their bodies.

The Javan, Black, Great One-Horned Rhino, and White Rhino, are one of the most endangered species in the world. White Rhinos are the second largest mammal. Most of them are from South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Kenya. There are less than 100 left. Poachers can actually drug the animal and remove its horn if done very gently and correct. Instead, it would be easier for them to kill it and remove the horn fast so they don't get caught.  Click bellow to read more.

AFRICAN ELEPHANT

There are three types of Elephants. The African, Forest, Indian and Savanna Elephant. The African Elephant lives inCoasta; east Africa and Congo Basin. They are the largest animal alive. About 3-5 million Elephants have died over the 1980's, and they are decreasing by 100,000 a year. poachers mostly take the ivory, but sometimes their skin. This mostly happens in South Africa, since more endangered Elephants live there. Click bellow for more information.
